Coronavirus: Revealed – The Impact of Eat Out to Help Out…
The Eat Out to Help Out program caused a significant increase in new coronavirus infections, according to a new study. According to the University of Warwick, there was a sharp spike in COVID-19 infection clusters a week after the program began.
The governments initiative was supposed to boost the economy after the national lockdown and allow pubs and restaurants to offer heavily discounted meals on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August.
