The Australian Border Force says there’s been a “significant spike” in the detection of several medical supplies related to the pandemic.
Shipments of potentially dangerous substances and medications claiming to offer protection from coronavirus are being intercepted at the border.
The Australian Border Force (ABF) on Monday said there had been a significant spike in the detection of several medical supplies related to the pandemic.
Of particular concern was a traditional Chinese medicine ingredient – which can also be a precursor to the drug ice – and an anti-malaria drug touted by US President Donald Trump.
