The Department of Health has released the new statistics
More than one in five new confirmed Covid-19 cases in the Republic of Ireland are linked with travel.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has recorded 270 cases over the past two weeks.
And 21% of these new infections have been associated with foreign travel.
The new statistic revealed by the Department of Health means there are around 60 active travel-related cases in the Republic.
It comes as no further coronavirus deaths and six new infections have been announced.
