The rollout is to begin next week

This is the historic moment that the first batch of the coronavirus vaccine was delivered to the HSE.
HSE chief Paul Reid was on hand to capture the delivery of the batch, which is now being held in cold chain storage in preparation for being administered to people across Ireland.
In line with other countries around Europe, the first vaccine in Ireland will be administered on Wednesday, with the rollout across Irish nursing homes and residential care facilities beginning in the second week of January.
