Four counties saw the biggest rise in coronavirus cases over the last 24 hours, according to the latest statistics.
In total, 79 further cases were announced by the Department of Health this evening.
It brings the total number of infections here to 27,755 since the pandemic began.
Dublin, with 43, had the most significant jump once again. The capital has generally been the epicentre of the outbreak in Ireland, accounting for nearly half of all cases here.
