Four smaller counties saw a spike in coronavirus cases over the latest 24-hour period, new statistics show.
Dublin was once again the hardest-hit county with 55 new cases confirmed.
This was followed by Kildare, which remains under a strict two-week lockdown, with 36 further infections.
However some smaller counties saw noticeable increases such as Tipperary, with 12 new cases, Limerick, with 10, Kilkenny, seven, and Waterford, six.
