There have been a further 190 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Ireland, with one further death.
The latest statement was made by Health Minister Stephen Donnelly, following a Cabinet meeting about the latest measures to be introduced in order to detain the spread of Covid-19 here.
The total number of confirmed cases is now 27,499. Validation of data at the HPSC led to the denotification of four confirmed cases.
The death toll has now hit 1,775.
