Genome sequencing of the coronavirus in samples from people with Covid-19 has revealed that one of the new cases identified in Auckland was not linked to all the others.
Partial genome sequence results indicated the infected man, a maintenance worker at the Rydges Hotel managed isolation facility in Auckland, was not linked to the rest of the Auckland August cluster, Crown research institute ESR said on Tuesday.
