Almost 20 venues across Sydney have closed following a reported case of COVID-19 this week, as a cluster in the city’s south west grows.

A sports club in Sydney is one of the latest venues in NSW to report a case of coronavirus in a patron.
Magpie Sports Club in Croydon Park, in Sydneys inner west, were advised by NSW Health that investigations were underway into a patron who had tested positive to COVID-19.
They have advised that the patron visited Magpie Sports Club on Friday 10th of July between 8pm and midnight, the club said in a statement on Facebook.
