Coronavirus Australia live news: WHO warns there will be a short supply of COVID-19 vaccines this year

WHO warns there are not enough vaccines to go around in 2021
The World Health Organization has warned coronavirus vaccines will be in short supply for the rest of the year.
The WHO says more than 200 million people have so far been vaccinated around the world.
However, director general Tedros Adhanom Ghenreyesus says available vaccine supplies have to be used carefully.
“More vaccines are being developed, approved and produced,” he said.
“There would be enough for everyone.
“But for now, and for the rest of this year, vaccines will be a limited resource.
“We must use the as strategically as we can.”
