An update on the COVIDSafe app from ABC Science technology reporter, Ariel Bogle
The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA), which helped build the app, has provided its latest testing data.
To recap, the app uses Bluetooth to communicate encrypted IDs between two devices within range that have COVIDSafe installed, but there have been questions about how well the app is performing this task.
