The celestial event was named by early Native American tribes as corn is harvested around this time of year
September’s full moon comes early this year with the ‘Corn Moon’ appearing on Wednesday evening.
Although it peaks on September 2, the Moon can be seen in all its glory for three days from tonight, reports the Mirror.
NASA explained: The next full Moon will peak after midnight on Wednesday morning, Sept. 2, 2020, appearing “opposite” the Sun (in Earth-based longitude) at 1:22 a.m. EDT.
