“Contagion” Duo Plan Something New – Dark Horizons

Filmmaker Steven Soderbergh’s 2011 thriller “Contagion” has scored new life this year in the wake of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Recently appearing on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Soderbergh discussed the increased relevancy of the film and was asked if there’s any chance of a sequel.
The prolific filmmaker indicated that he and “Contagion” scribe Scott Z. Burns are working on a project that can be seen as connected to that film, but it will NOT be a direct sequel:
