Contact tracing frustrations as two new quarantine cases recorded in Qld
The update comes as Queensland health authorities continue to monitor the growing cluster in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, warning of further restrictions should it spread more widely across the city.
One of the cases linked to the cluster, a woman in her 50s, had flown into Brisbane on Wednesday before visiting the Glen Hotel in Eight Mile Plains and driving to the Sunshine Coast before testing positive to the virus at the Prince Charles fever clinic.
A number of public health alerts have been issued as a result, but Queensland Health was forced to make a renewed call to patrons of the hotel on Saturday night after identifying many who were not on venue contact tracing lists.
