Construction has started on a 181 room Holiday Inn in the Maroochydore CBD. The new nine storey building on First Avenue will feature a rooftop swimming pool, bar and restaurant, retail space and conference
centre.Up to 1500 people will be employed during construction as well as 30 full and part time staff, once it opens next year.
