Viva Energy has today warned it could be forced to shut down its Corio refinery as the business continues to feel the effects of the pandemic.

Viva Energy has today warned it could be forced to shut down its Corio refinery as the business continues to feel the effects of the pandemic.
The local refinery is currently under maintenance and is also operating at reduced production levels under current coronavirus restrictions.
Geelong Council says its deeply concerned by the news.
Mayor Stephanie Asher said the company contributes around $200 million to the local economy each year and employs 700 people across the region.
