Commonwealth Bank class action: Slater and Gordon appeal for credit card and personal loan protection customers – 7NEWS.com.au
The bank sold insurance some customers couldn’t even claim on and others allegedly didn’t need. The fight to get their money back is heading into court.

More than 750,000 Australians may be eligible to join a consumer credit class action against the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Law firm Slater and Gordon is representing hundreds of thousands of customers, on a no-win, no-fee basis, who were allegedly sold junk credit card and personal loan insurance that was of little or no value.
The class action alleges that many people were led to believe that the insurance was compulsory, or free, while others didnt even know they had been sold it.
