In an ideal world the appointment of Collingwoods new president would be a watershed moment that ushers the dawn of a new age at the troubled club. But this is Collingwood. Their world is seldom ideal. If the Magpies are hoping Mark Kordas ascension is the beginning of the end to a bruising epoch of tumult at the club, they are mistaken.
