Coles has called for calm amid claims Victoria is facing a major meat shortage due to an alarming rise in coronavirus cases at abattoirs and meat processing plants.
There are more than 300 confirmed cases at five different facilities, which have been forced to close for cleaning, sparking fears the state may go without dinner staples such as chicken and mince.
