Australias leading stockpilers have defended themselves against criticism as a new wave of panic buying hits supermarkets.
Coles and Woolworths shoppers in Victoria have reported seeing rows of empty shelves at major Melbourne stores as cases of coronavirus continue to spike, forcing the state into Stage 3 lockdown.
