Clinic’s customers urged to get tests after watchdog reports infection breaches – Sydney Morning Herald
The NSW Health warning applies to people who received certain treatments from the DETOXologie clinic in Bondi Junction between June 2013 and December 2020.
Fay Fain, a naturopath and the clinics practitioner, was banned from providing any health services to members of the public – whether paid or voluntary – under an interim prohibition order from the Health Care Complaints Commission on December 7.
The business has since improved its infection control measures and been allowed to operate, although the order prohibiting Ms Fain from providing health services was extended for another eight weeks at the beginning of February.
