Citis equities desk is in the market with a $115 million institutional placement for lithium ion battery play Novonix.

The broker was seeking buyers for 39.7 million new Novonix shares at $2.90 each, which was an 11.9 per cent discount to the last close.
Funds raised were for capital expenditure and boost production at its Novonix Anode Materials.
