Christopher Malyschko inquest finds ‘care and supervision’ of prisoner was ‘inadequate’
Northern Territory coroner Greg Cavanagh has found Corrections failed to adequately care for Christopher Malyschko before his death in Darwin’s Holtze prison.

Malyschko, 31, was found dead in his cell on August 20, 2019.
He died from positional asphyxia — meaning he was not able to get enough air to breathe — due to his synthetic cannabis use and obesity.
