Christmas shopping opening hours to be ‘staggered’ across stores – The Age
Plans for Melbourne’s retail reopening – including ways to shop for a COVID-safe Christmas – have stirred up concerns in a lockdown-wearied industry.

“I can’t predict what the numbers will be tomorrow or the day after but once we have got those and we make final touches and final refinements to what is possible and what is deemed safe, then we will have more to say on Sunday,” Mr Andrews said on Thursday.
“That won’t be coming into effect hours later as indicated. They will need to be a few days as we ease into that but we’re still hopeful.”
