One of the themes of Mad Men was the sexism women faced in the Sterling Cooper & Partners advertising agency. Although the show was fictional, Christina Hendricks says the sexism she faced during the media coverage for the show was not.
The 46-year-old has revealed she was often asked about her breasts during interviews, rather than the plight of her character and the struggles she faced as a woman working in advertising in the 1960s.
