On Friday, the actor posted a photo with his wife Elsa Pataky and a group of friends in Byron Bay captioned: Happy New Year.
They were all dressed in florescent outfits fitting in with the theme.
Pataky had a bright pink wig, while Hemsworth wore a metallic gold shirt.
Last month Hemsworth took to Instagram to share a tribute to his wife on their 10-year wedding anniversary.
10 years together! he wrote.
