CHO explains two days of COVID test delays

“We had 76 fever clinics open across Queensland yesterday [Saturday], and 18 were in the south-east corner of the state,” Dr Young said on Sunday.
“We are opening more fever clinics and we are extending hours because of that rapid response from people coming forward to get tested.
“Testing facilities are available seven days a week and include dedicated fever clinics and drive through sites, private labs and Commonwealth-run clinics.
“If one [testing clinic] is particularly busy, look where else you can go.”
