Chinese officials backpedal from notice asking families to stockpile necessities amid ‘crazy panic buying’

Chinese officials are back-pedalling from their original notices they issued alerting families to stockpile daily necessities such as vegetables and rice, in case of emergencies, after panic spread on social media.
