MG is readying a ladder-frame LandCruiser Prado and Fortuner rival called the Gloster, with the seven-seat SUV targeting an October launch in India.
Based on the LDV D90, the Gloster – named for a British WWII jet fighter, the Gloster Meteor – promises “best-in class features, luxurious interiors and new benchmarks”, all riding on a ladder-frame chassis that should deliver serious off-road credibility.
