Chief medical officer Paul Kelly on Monday said the news from Victoria should spur people who were on the list to be vaccinated as soon as possible, with winter fast approaching.
Victorian health authorities had earlier announced a full investigation was under way after two people from Melbourne’s northern suburbs had returned tests that were “likely positive”.
