Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young announced as Queensland’s next governor

Queensland’s Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young will quit the role to become the state’s next governor.
She won’t take over the role until November, to give her a chance to further progress the state’s coronavirus vaccination program, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said on Monday.
