An Aussie basketball great has gone where Shane Heal didn’t after his daughter Shyla was cut moments before boarding the team plane.
Australian basketballer Shyla Heal has been brutally left without a WNBA team just seven weeks after Chicago Sky selected the teenager with the eighth pick in the draft.
Heal, the daughter of Aussie basketball legend Shane Heal, was at the airport with the team preparing for her first road trip when the organisation traded her to the Dallas Wings.
Dallas then immediately waived the 19-year-old, leaving her without a team just weeks after arriving in the country.
