A fully-restored 1977 Chevrolet K5 Blazer has been unveiled by Chevrolet Performance, showcasing General Motors’ upcoming ‘eCrate’ powertrain.
The near-production electric crate motor is derived predominantly from Chevrolet Bolt components mated to the Blazer’s original drivetrain.
This allows the four-speed automatic to send power to all four wheels through the transfer case when engaged, ensuring the Chevy’s off-road abilities are maintained.
