‘Chemical attack’ on bus leaves driver with facial burns

A bus driver has been rushed to hospital after having a chemical substance thrown in his face on a bus south of Brisbane on Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Drews Road, Loganholme, about 9.20am after reports of the alleged assault involving the Clarks Logan City Bus Service driver.
The driver was treated for burns to his face and eyes and transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said.
A police spokesman said officers were investigating.
