CFO of delisted Chinese company jailed – The Australian Financial Review
The former chief financial officer of Chinese wellness group Traditional Therapy Clinics sentenced for manipulating his company’s stock on the ASX.
Traditional Therapy Clinics is one of a number of Chinese-based companies that have been delisted by the ASX in recent years.
While the company had a registered office in Perth, the companys operations sat in Chongqing, and the ASX began questioning the group about whether it was experiencing problems repatriating money from China in late 2017.
