CENTRAL west New South Wales sheep and beef producers have been urged to vaccinate their livestock for anthrax after the first case of the disease this year was recently detected in the region.
NSW Department of Primary Industries and Local Land Services said in late January anthrax was detected in an unvaccinated mob of ewes and lambs on a central west NSW property with a previous history of anthrax.
