Celeste Manno’s mother calls for tougher stalking laws after daughter killed in Melbourne home

The mother of Melbourne woman Celeste Manno, who was killed while she was sleeping in her family home last month, has called on the Victorian Government to tighten laws around stalking offences.

Speaking publicly for the first time since her 23-year-old daughter’s death, Aggie Di Mauro said she wanted harsher penalties for offenders who breached intervention orders, GPS tracking for perpetrators and better protections for victims.
