#Celebrating35 ???? with Dolphins legend Robbie Frey.
“I was privileged to play for the Club in the early 90s under the guidance of Coach Max Gunthorpe. Mainly in Reserve Grade for two reasons, one – lack of skill and ability and two – Roachy and Digger were champions and had the flanks stitched up. There were many great players and quality people involved back then and proudly continues to this day.
In later life I have loved coaching and managing my boys Jack and Mack as Dolphin juniors and value the culture and camaraderie they have gained belonging to this great Club. I am also honoured to have served as Junior President.
My many highlights include winning a few GFs, seeing the growth of the Club, watching juniors move through to the senior ranks and now proudly watching sons and daughters of past players playing for the Dolphins, seeing my son Jack transition from player to medic and my wife Donna’s involvement in Grants. My ‘Two Arms’ send off was a stand out as well as working with volunteers that continue to make this Club great!” Rob Frey
