While the glory will understandably go to Ash Moloney, he also owes a debt of gratitude to Cedric Dubler.
The results show Cedric Dubler was last placed of 21 athletes to finish the Tokyo Olympics decathlon.
But his contribution to countryman Ash Moloneys history-making bronze medal was immeasurable.
