A man is on the run after allegedly stabbing a 16-year-old boy he knew to death in Brisbane’s CBD.

Police say the man stabbed the teenager in the stomach at Emma Miller Place near Roma Street train station at about 8pm on Thursday.
The boy then walked to nearby King George Square where he keeled over and collapsed in front of Brisbane City Hall.
