CBD could be used to treat anti-biotic resistant superbugs – Body and Soul

It’s been touted as a natural treatment for depression, anxiety, migraines, and even conditions like epilepsy. But new research shows that CBD could do even more as a potential new class of antibiotic.  Breakthrough research suggests CBD (cannabidiol, which is derived from the cannabis plant) could be used to treat antibiotic-resistant infections like meningitis, legionnaires disease, even gonorrhoea, the second-most common sexually transmitted infection in Australia.
