Cats ease expectations of imminent Cockatoo return – The Age
Nakia Cockatoo will return and play senior football this season but the Cats say that won’t be in their next two matches.

Cockatoo has been pressing hard for a recall, having impressed in practice matches against the Gold Coast Suns, but his two previous comebacks in the VFL were short-lived. His last match was against Port Melbourne in August last year.
Forward-ruckman Esava Ratugolea was overlooked for Friday night’s clash, while Jack Steven, having managed back-to-back matches, and Brad Close were rested. Sam Simpson and Lachie Fogarty were recalled, having been rested from Monday night’s clash against St Kilda…
