Carbon-pricing countries achieve ‘massive’ emissions reductions: study – Sydney Morning Herald
Countries that put a price on carbon have achieved far higher emissions reductions than countries that do not.

“Countries with a carbon-pricing scheme tended to have lower economic growth, were higher up the development ladder, and also more likely to have energy policies that encouraged transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy. But these factors explain only some of the difference in emissions,” Professor Jotzo said.
