Club fined for failure after Lewis head knock

The NRL has fined the Canterbury Bulldogs $20,000 for failing to remove concussed playmaker Lachlan Lewis from the field.
Lewis suffered the head knock during the club’s Round Four hammering to South Sydney at Stadium Australia.
The 24-year-old’s head was caught in the wrong spot when he tackled Souths winger Josh Mansour in the sixth minute of the game.
While he was attended to by the club’s trainer immediately, Lewis remained on the field despite having stumbled back to his feet with the assistance…
