‘Can’t believe they would offer that’: Smith slams Broncos for lowballing Storm star
Storm legend Cameron Smith has blasted the Broncos for lowballing his former teammate Nicho Hynes with an offer that was worth half of what he eventually signed with the Sharks for.
The Broncos were considered the frontrunners for Hynes services, before he inked a $1.8 million three-year deal with Cronulla, which dwarfed the Broncos $300,000 a season deal.
It was reported that the Broncos offered Nicho Hynes $300,000 and for me I just feel as though that is heavy unders, Smith said on SEN radio.
