Australian shares are expected to fall in early trade as Wall Street pulled back from its record highs during a volatile session.
ASX futures were down 32 points (-0.5pc) to 6,767, by 8:05am AEDT.
The Australian dollar slipped (-0.2pc) to 77.2 US cents.
Several major companies will report their earnings today, including AMP, Telstra, AGL Energy and Transurban.
Bitcoin dropped (-3.8pc) to $US45,207, as investors decided to consolidate their recent gains.
