Research firm Canalys shared its estimates of 2020 Chromebook sales and theyre up. Way up. Canalys says that 30.7 million Chromebooks were sold globally in 2020 amid record demand. In the final quarter of 2020 alone, Chromebook sales were up 287 percent from the fourth quarter of the prior year. While these short term growth spurts are good for the device makers in general, over the long term, they can benefit the entire Chromebook market.
