Calm before storm: Southeast faces 80mm weekend deluge

With a chance of showers forecast today, Bureau of Meteorology’s Rosa Hoff said the region was experiencing a “lull” in rainfall while a weather system moves off the coast.“We’re in a bit of a lull at the moment just as the system that brought the heavier rainfall earlier in the week has moved off the coast, however we’re going to see a coastal trough redevelop and it’s going to be a different system to what we saw last week,” she said.Brisbane weather – current temp & 7-day…
