Calls for Tea Tree Gully Mayor Kevin Knight to resign over inappropriate conduct towards female councillor

Embattled Tea Tree Gully Mayor Kevin Knight has again been called on to resign after an independent report found he engaged in “inappropriate conduct” towards a female councillor.

The report, which was compiled by council lawyers Norman Waterhouse following a referral from the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption (ICAC), also found him guilty of breaching the council’s code of conduct.

Mr Knight has vehemently denied the allegations outlined in the report.
