Calls for crackdown on infected aged care workers spreading coronavirus to elderly Melburnians – 7NEWS.com.au
The Victorian Government has confirmed that coronavirus has been spread to at least two Melbourne homes by a single infected staff member working across sites.
Melbournes aged care system has been slammed after it was revealed some staff members are working across multiple residential homes as the city battles a major coronavirus outbreak.
39 aged care homes have now been infected with COVID-19 across the state and 108 staff and residents have tested positive, leading to calls for tougher restrictions on staff movement.
